The Identity Futurologists Idea
The idea for Contactable originated in 2009, when Founder, Shaun Strydom (CEO), envisaged the requirement for a Digital Identity which must mirror an individual’s physical identity.
Contactable’s development progress, was aided by the strategic investment, involvement and support from the Department of Science and Technology through the Technology Innovation Agency in South Africa.

Catalyst
The involvement by Government was a key milestone, and catalyst for Contactable’s unique and innovative solution, comprising an integrated digital solution to deal with challenges around legally compliant digital identities, regulatory compliant customer onboarding (e-KYC – e-FICA and e-RICA) and integrated customer /citizen ecosystems.
The team at Contactable are passionate about Identities and how best to integrate these into the new digital world. We call ourselves Identity Futurologists!
